Instructions
- Strawberries should be rinsed and hulled.
- Place the strawberries in a large pot and cut them into small pieces.
- Stir in the sugar and lemon juice until well combined.
- Cook, stirring frequently, over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes, or until the jam thickens.
- Scoop a small amount of jam onto a chilled plate to test it.
- It's ready when the jam wrinkles when pressed with your finger.
- Remove the pot from the heat and set aside for a few minutes to cool.
- Remove any foam from the top of the jam.
- Pour the jam into clean, sterilized jars and place in the refrigerator to cool completely.
