Instructions

  • Rinse and pat dry blackberries.
  • In a medium-sized saucepan, crush the blackberries with a potato masher.
  • Stir together the sugar and lemon juice in the saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently, over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to low and allow the jam to simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the desired thickness is reached, stirring occasionally.
