Small Batch Blueberry Jam Recipe

This small batch blueberry jam is ideal for using up leftover blueberries or for making a quick and easy homemade jam without the use of pectin.

Instructions

  • Combine the blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt in a large, heavy-bottomed pot.
  • Cook, stirring frequently, over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30-40 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and reaches the desired consistency.
  • Remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Place the jam in a sterilized jar and set aside to cool completely before sealing.
  • Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
