  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Instructions

  • Combine the onions, apples, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and red chili powder in a medium-sized pot.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples and onions are soft and the sauce has thickened.
  • Stir in the cumin powder and coriander powder.
  • Remove from the heat and set aside to cool completely.
  • Refrigerate the chutney for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
